Udon announced that Udon’s Art of Capcom 3 will launch in a hardcore version on September 29. This is a collection of artists’ renditions of Street Fighter, Mega Man, Darkstalkers, and other Capcom licensed titles.
Udon’s Art of Capcom 3 includes over 300 pages of comic covers, video game-endings, promotional art, costume designs, and tribute art. The cover of the book is created by Jeffrey ‘Chamba’ Cruz, an artist known in the community for his unique style. The artist has also been featured on the cover of the previous two books in the series.
Each page of the book features the artists’ work for fans of the publisher to collect. The styles vary, which makes the collection interesting given the many different takes on these well-known characters.
Additionally, the publisher revealed that the out-of-print Udon’s Art of Capcom 1 and Udon’s Art of Capcom 2 will launch on July 28 and August 25, respectively, in a special hardcover version. Each book collects over 300 pages of Capcom art features additional artist renditions of classic Capcom characters, comic covers, game box art, video game endings, promotional images, and tribute illustrations.
All three books are available to pre-order now for $49.99 each.
