Ubisoft announced that they plan to continue the yearly tradition of their E3 press briefing, even in the wake of the cancellation of E3 2020. The company revealed that on July 12 they will stream a digital conference that will showcase “exclusive game news, exciting reveals and plenty more.”
At this time, the team has only shared an image that reads “Ubisoft Forward,” which might signify that the company is planning on showing off their next-gen offerings. Both Sony and Microsoft plan to release their newest consoles in Holiday 2020 so this is the perfect time to reveal the games that players will be able to play on the upcoming platforms.
It’s a sure bet that the developer will focus much of its presentation on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Hopefully, we will get to see actual gameplay this time around. Recently, during Xbox Insider, they said they’d show gameplay reveal trailer but ended up showing a cinematic trailer instead.
Other titles that fans are looking forward to is more information about Beyond Good and Evil 2 and possibly even a new Splinter Cell game (hey, we can dream right!?).
Whatever the company has in store, I’m sure we’ll all be tuning in to watch. Currently, there isn’t a time for the event, but we’ll keep you updated.
