TYPE-MOON Visual Novel ‘Witch on the Holy Night’ Sells 150,000 Units Worldwide
Developer TYPE-MOON and publisher Aniplex of America have announced that their visual novel, Witch on the Holy Night, has sold over 150,000 units worldwide across both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
To commemorate the occasion, the game will be 25% off digitally between July 6, 2023, and July 20 for Nintendo Switch, while the PlayStation 4 version is currently 25% off until July 19, 2023.
- The game was confirmed to have sold 110,000 units worldwide back in December 2022.

The game tells the story of a trio who lives together in an old Western mansion on the outskirts of a Japanese town. Rumors say that a witch lives in the place, and they might actually not be so far-fetched. After all, Aoko Aozaki does study her sorcery in the area under the tutelage of Alice Kuonji.
During the Showa Era (the 1980s), a young man called Soujuurou Shizuki meets the two of them. He comes from a rural area and has slowly been adjusting to the new reality of high school in the city.
In the new edition, Aoko is voiced by Haruka Tomatsu, Kana Hanazawa voices Alice, and Yuusuke Kobayashi voices Soujuurou.
Tsukihime -A Piece of Blue Glass Moon- has been confirmed to release in the West for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2024.
