Twin Breaker: A Sacred Symbols Adventure Gets PS4 and PS Vita Release Date With Limited Physical Version Available
Lillymo Games announced that their story-driven brick breaker starring Colin Moriarty and Chris Ray Maldonado, Twin Breaker: A Sacred Symbols Adventure, will launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on March 24.
Also, collectors will be glad to know that the developer is teaming up with publisher Eastasiasoft to release a physical version of the game on both PS4 and PS Vita limited to 1,000 copies each. The publisher will announce when fans can pre-order the title in the coming days.
Twin Breaker: A Sacred Symbols Adventure is a brick breaker, which doesn’t need much more of an explanation, but the developer has also included a narrative for the game set in the year 2311. Both Colin Moriarty and Chris Ray Gun have been chosen to search for a strange alien anomaly that appeared and vanished in space.
The game prides itself on being a story-driven brick-breaking game full of unique level designs and boss battles. There are also various guns that players will be able to equip to their paddles to add variety to the genre.
Colin writes in a Patreon post about the game, “It felt like a meta enough idea to be interesting, and I knew that a subsection of our audience would really love it. It’s been an awesome experience for me to flesh out a strange tale of first contact, led by our two daring protagonists and their powerful ships: Greetings and Salutations. Giving an old-school-style game a story at all was really inspired, in a lot of ways, but Atlus’ wonderful Catherine, which gave Q*Bert meaning. So why can’t Arkanoid have meaning, too?!”
