Turn-Based RPG ‘Sea of Stars’ Delayed To 2023

Team Sabotage has announced that their turn-based RPG Sea of Stars will now be releasing at some point in 2023. The title previously had a Quarter 4 2022 release window. A brief message was shared regarding the collective reasoning for this delay: the development team’s quality of life and the game’s quality.

You can view the full delay message from Sabotage below:

Sea of Stars stars Valere and Zale, two characters who share the same fate of becoming Solstice Warriors. Each shares the power of the Sun and Moon to perform what is known as Eclipse Magic to fight against an evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.

Combat in Sea of Stars has players take control of six-party members in turn-based RPG systems. The game also removes level grinding as character skills are unlocked through game progression and not tied to how many fights are taken. When battles occur, players must use their tactical skills to make it out and preemptively counter powerful enemy attacks.

Sea of Stars ran a successful Kickstarter to fund its development, with the most recent gameplay trailer showing a boss encounter.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the development of Sea of Stars.

Sea of Stars is releasing for Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam and other platforms.
