Zade Studios launched their real-time turn-based JRPG Beckoned on Indiegogo to assist with the game’s development. The developer initially launched the campaign in January, but we missed it, and we want to correct that.
With 30 days left, the developer is seeking $68,000 to help fund the Development of Beckoned Bronze version. The team plans to implement a completed story campaign, battle-system, base magic-system, five core dungeons with enemies/bosses, a HUD/UX-based town system, and an essential shop-system. Their timeline is aimed at 2.5 to 3 years to complete the project.
There’s a demo available on Steam now for players to play through an early prototype. This demo is meant to give players an early look at what the team is trying to put together, and they also want to hear feedback from the community.
The team has also outlined different versions of the game depending on how much they get. There’s a Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum version planned; each goal will add more detail to the game and hire new team members to help with the project: pretty much more money, more quality. To receive a copy of the game, there’s a tier set at $30.
Beckoned is a single-player adventure that follows the story of Taujk, who is searching for a crystal pendant that contains his lost memories. Accompanied by his friends, Enelh and Leign, they explore the world and face the many obstacles that stand in their way.
