Panic has announced the Max Cahill, Franek, Bibiki, and Antonio Uribe-developed turn-based tactical action RPG Arco. The staff comprises the following individuals:
- Polish pixel artist Franek Nowotniak
- Australian game developer Max Cahill
- Spanish composer and sound designer José Ramón “Bibiki” García
- Mexican industry veteran Antonio “Fáyer” Uribe
The game is set in a “world inspired by magical realism,” following four characters on a revenge-filled quest. However, they have to contend with the corporate mafia, the Red Company gang. Players will traverse the wilderness and diverse communities, with several encounters requiring planning and observation.
Combat is a “simultaneous turn-based” system. Moreover, each campaign has a different character with its own assortment of special skills, and players will be able to recruit allies.
Franek, Game Lead on Arco, said the following about this eventual release:
“Making the little guy run on the screen was a dream come true.
