Discover More About Zelda-Like Indie Game Tunic in Extended Video
Publisher Finji has shared an insightful developer commentary gameplay video for Tunic, a charming isometric action adventure game developed by Andrew Shouldice.
In the video, Shouldice and Finji’s Harris Foster shed some light on what Tunic is as they discuss a slew of details about the adorable little fox character, along with the enchanting yet mysterious world in the game. Originally named as “The Secret Legend” back in 2015, the developer hasn’t shared many details about Tunic’s story.
What we do know, however, is that Tunic has a magnificent art style, soothing soundtrack, and wondrous world that simply can’t be ignored. Tunic looks like an old-school Legend of Zelda game, but with nice new-school touches that help make it stand out.
If you’re like me and love the classic Legend of Zelda games or if you’re a fan of ruin exploring, monster hunting, and treasure collecting — definitely check out the video below:
Tunic is expected to release sometime in 2019 and will launch on PC and Xbox One. We’ll be sharing more news about the game, so make sure to stay tuned.
Author’s Take: I’ve been looking forward to playing Tunic ever since it was revealed. It just seems like the developer put so much love into it, so I can’t help but be excited to explore all that the game has to offer.
