Action Brawler ‘Tunche’ Coming to Nintendo Switch in Spring

During the December 2020 Indie World Showcase, LEAP Game Studios announced that their action brawler Tunche will launch on Nintendo Switch in March 2021 alongside a PC release on Steam.

Tunche is a hack and slash brawler with hand-drawn animations that take players through an adventure across the Amazonian rainforest. There are five characters to play as including Hat Kid from A Hat in Time. The game features local co-op and roguelike elements to approach the adventure differently each time you play.

Each of the five heroes has a distinct playstyle with unique skills and abilities. These should come in handy against the games’ multi-stage bosses. Each playthrough will be rewarded with experience, which will allow you to play further through the story. Characters can be upgraded with experience to learn new moves and skills. The final boss in the game is the legendary Tunche, but we’re hoping that we don’t have to beat up any Amazonian gods because we love the Amazon.

Co-op in the game will allow players to team up with up to four other local and online multiplayer friends.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of Tunche in the west. We’ll also let you know if the game comes to any other platforms.
