Side-Scrolling Horror Adventure ‘Tsugunohi’ Launches on Steam With Added Kizuna Ai Horror Story
Playism has launched the Game Magazine and ImCyan-developed 2D horror adventure, Tsugunohi, on PC-via Steam in the west.
Tsugunohi was initially developed by ImCyan and released on Freem alongside other free game websites in 2012. Since its release, players have been sharing stories through Let’s Plays to establish it as a memorable horror title. Now, the Steam version will include nine episodes supported with English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese text options.
This new release has been remastered for Steam, and players will find the first three episodes of the game now have enhanced graphics. Each story focuses on a new character, and the players will learn about their situation. I mean, there’s also a story about a cat, but the list of protagonists grows from different genders across different ages, kind of similar to the Twilight Zone.
Furthermore, a collaboration with Kizuna Ai, the popular Japanese Vtuber, is included called Ai’s Silent Cries, an original Steam scenario. Kizuna Ai is on her way home after a live broadcast. The road home today feels different but somehow familiar…
Further, there will be two new original episodes for this release, the first being Tsugunohi: The Ethereal Railroad Crossing. This new story that takes place at a train crossing awash with ghostly mystique is connected to the previous episode, Tsugunohi: The Parallel Train in the dark. In addition, there will be another story revealed before the Steam launch.
