Publisher Cooldown Games and developer Frozenbyte have announced that Trine 6: Together in Time will be released on September 17, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
This entry will follow Moira and Adrius as they become involved with series veterans Amadeus, Zoya, and Pontius after a heist goes wrong.
Trine 6 has been designed with a stronger emphasis on co-op. Puzzles are built around teamwork and combining character abilities, but players are no longer restricted by specific character requirements. Any puzzle can be completed with any hero. Solo players will also be able to complete the entire adventure thanks to updated puzzle designs. The game supports up to four players in local and online co-op, including cross-platform multiplayer.
One of the major additions is the Time-Slow ability, which is available to every playable character. This new skill allows players to briefly slow the action.
Alongside returning heroes Amadeus the Wizard, Zoya the Thief, and Pontius the Knight, the title will have Moira the Acrobat and Adrius the Squire.
