Tribute Games and Zenovia Partner Up for the Release of 16-bit Post-Apocalyptic Style Action Platformer Game, Steel Assault

Publisher Tribute Games has made a deal with indie Developer Zenovia for the release of Steel Assault.

Steel Assault is an upcoming 16-bit post-apocalyptic style action platformer game. This partnership deal with Tribute Games marks their first time acting as a publishing partner for other developers.

Jean-François Major, president of Tribute Games, had this to say regarding the partnership:

“After close to 10 years of self-publishing and 6 games under our belt, we felt it was time to share our knowledge and expertise that we have built and fostered. We plan on teaming up with developers that share our passion and love for pixel art games. We’re proud to be starting this new venture with the Zenovia team and their highly awaited title Steel Assault.”

Steel Assault is the first title from Developer Zenovia, founded by founded by Sri Kankanahalli and has been in development for the past six years. Throughout this title, players will control Taro Takahashi, a resistance soldier on a mission of vengeance against a dictator who “rules over the ashes”. Alongside side scrolling combat, zipline actions and grappling hook maneuvers make movement a key feature of this title.

Steel Assault is aiming for a 2021 release on Steam, with no price or other platforms confirmed as of now.
