Triangle Strategy Reveals New Demo Ahead of March Launch; Playable to End of Chapter 3, Save Data Transfers

During the February 2022 Nintendo Direct, Square Enix announced that the Studio Artdink-developed tactical RPG, Triangle Strategy, has received a new demo ahead of its Nintendo Switch launch on March 4, 2022.

The demo will include new features that were added to the game following its first demo. Players can expect to play through a few missions and navigate some of the trial sections of the gameplay that change the outcome of the narrative. These systems have been updated from the first demo available. Further, players can now play until the end of Chapter 3, and save data can transfer to the full game.

Triangle Strategy takes place on the continent of Norzelia comprised of Glenbrook, Aesfrost, and Hyzante. The regions fight over salt and iron, which began the Saltiron War, now years later, the threats of war reemerge as groups of knights from each region join together to fight. During gameplay, players will find themselves navigating a classic grid-based map.

The turn-based battle system will also feature environmental systems where players can directly affect the world around them. Characters can link attacks together to utilize the elements and cause greater damage or find ways to navigate the battlefield quicker.
