Trials of Mana Revealed in Trailer With a Global Release Planned on PS4, Switch, and PC
During Nintendo’s E3 2019 presentation, Square Enix revealed Trials of Mana for global release on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Early 2020.
Trials of Mana is a remastered version of Seiken Densetsu 3 and the sequel to Secret of Mana. The game follows six heroes who are on a quest to claim the legendary Mana Sword and defeat the God Beasts before they destroy the world. The cast of characters varies depending on which storyline the player chooses to take on in the first chapter of the game. This choice also determines how the characters interact with each other. Each of the heroes has their own personality and motivation for wanting to take on such a dangerous quest, but they press on.
Gameplay focuses on revealing enemy weaknesses and switch through characters who use different weapon types. This will mean that characters will need to be used often in battle and switch them will be a staple in the action focused battle system.
Additionally, the developer released the first gameplay trailer showing characters and the remastered graphics that players can expect when the jump into the game. Additionally, it shows that there is voiced dialog in the game and plenty of updated features that will receive details as we get closer to the game’s release.
