2D Adventure ‘Transiruby’ Gets Fall Release Window for PC With New Trailer

Flyhigh Works announced they will publish the Esquardra and Skipmore-developed 2D adventure Transiruby on PC-via Steam in Fall 2021.

Transiruby is a Metroidvania adventure game where players will need to explore the world as a cyborg named Siruby. Enemies encountered can be dealt with slashes, but the game is meant to be low stress. There are secrets scattered throughout the environment that lead to new areas and upgrades and elemental abilities that provide access to new areas. There’s a focus on puzzle adventure elements where players will need to collect golden Tranchips to open doors to the next stage.

Transiruby tells the story of Siruby, who travels with her AI partner Ne-com to explore an unknown land. Along the way, she’ll meet other characters, including Yamato, an unusual cyborg girl, and “Douglas,” the treasure hunter. The game is very much about discovery.

Additionally, the developer has released a new trailer showing off gameplay. The game was initially announced back in 2018 but has seemingly come a long way in the last 2 years.

We’ll keep you updated on the release and development of Transiruby.

For now, take a look at the gameplay to see how this game takes a unique approach to the Metroidvania genre:
