[UPDATE] Trails of Cold Steel Valimar MODEROID Figure Revealed

UPDATE 7/21/2022: Pre-orders are stated to begin on July 22, 2022, at 12:00 JST, with more news teased for next week.

Good Smile has showcased a plethora of upcoming mecha figures releasing in the future, with one of them being Valimar the Ashen Knight from the Cold Steel saga of the Trails franchise. Being developed by MODEROID, no intricate details regarding this figure were shared. Simple panning shots showcasing it were the extent of what was depicted.

Mecha Smile also announced the Valimar figure via Twitter.

Throughout Trails into Reverie, hearkening back to Trails in the Sky the 3rd, players will find themselves exploring the Reverie Corridor, which contains a slew of content such as recruitable party members, minigames, and randomly generated dungeons. The strategical Brave Order mechanic makes its return alongside the new United Front system utilizing the power of the entire team to destroy foes. Side episodes viewable from the Reverie Corridor also serve to flesh out the characterizations and relationships of the massive, varied cast.

In The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails, players take control of Nayuta, who dreams of the outside world and what lies beyond the confines of his home. Soon after reconvening with his friends and other denizens on his island home, Nayuta ends up saving a mysterious fairy by the name of Noi. This fairy-like girl asks for Nayuta’s help in recovering something stolen from her, and this journey takes him to the stretches of existence he has only ever dreamed of.

Trails from Zero has players take control of protagonist Lloyd Bannings and the rest of the Special Support Section as they aid the citizens of Crossbell City with various tasks and gradually uncover a deep-seated corruption at the heart of the city with criminality at its core.

Alongside the strategical turn-based combat fans have expected from the series, the addition of cooperative attacks with party members makes the bonds between the Special Support Section an active ingredient in combat potential. This release boasts a High-Speed mode, which prior localized Trails entries contain. This functionality allows players to speed past cutscenes for whatever reason they deem fit.

Trails into Zero

Trails to Azure has players take control of protagonist Lloyd Bannings months after the events of Trails from Zero. With new members joining the Special Support Section, various threats from political pressures from the Erebonian Empire and the Republic of Calvard to the supernatural begin to unravel Crossbell City at its seams.

Players can finally experience the finale to the beloved Crossbell duology, witnessing masterful twists and endearing characterizations entangled within a thought-provoking narrative. This release contains character cameos from the Trails of Cold Steel saga and carry-over save data for benefits in the upcoming Trails into Reverie.
