Trails of Cold Steel III Gets Switch Release Date and Launches Free Demo Available Now

NIS America announced that the Nintendo Switch version of the Falcom-developed RPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III, will launch on June 30 in North Americ and Europe and July 7 in Oceania.

Additionally, the publisher announced that a free demo for the game is available now on the Nintendo eShop. Players can get s preview of the game running on Switch ahead of its release.

The Switch version of Legend of Heroes: Trailer of Cold Steel III will include 26 cosmetic items for free. This allows players to customize their characters in additional outfits and accessories.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III continues the story of Thors Military Academy student Rean Schwarzer as he and his classmates find themselves in the middle of a war. Throughout the game, players will learn more about the characters and their personalities as well as the state of the region.

The game features turn-based combat where players can use Arts and Skills to take down enemies. Additionally, other powerful attacks are unlocked as the story goes on. This game also introduces a new “Break System”, which the player will explore throughout the game and NISA will provide further details on soon.

Trails of Cold Steel III is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC.
