NIS America launched a free demo for the Falcom developed RPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III, coming to PlayStation 4 on October 22 in North America and Europe, and October 29 in Australia and New Zealand.
The demo is available now on PlayStation Network and contains the prologue chapter. Save files will also carry over, but there might be a trophy missed in the early parts of the game for those who don’t replay the prologue portion in the final release.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III continues the story of Thors Military Academy student Rean Schwarzer as he and his classmates find themselves in the middle of a war. Throughout the game, players will learn more about the characters and their personalities as well as the state of the region.
The game features turn-based combat where players can use Arts and Skills to take down enemies. Additionally, other powerful attacks are unlocked as the story goes on. This game also introduces a new “Break System”, which the player will explore throughout the game and NISA will provide further details on soon.
