Trails of Cold Steel III Announced for PC With March Release Date

NIS America announced that the Falcom-developed RPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III will be coming to PC-via Steam 0n March 23.

The PC version of the game will launch with 26 cosmetic items, available for free for a limited time. In the PC version, players can now customize the high-speed mode and utilize the new ultrawide screen support options. The game now supports framerates up 240 fps and has fully customizable key bindings.

Also announced is that Durante, who worked on Trails of Cold Steel I and II on PC, will join the publisher to work on the PC version of the newest entry to come west. Recently, the game was also announced to be coming to Nintendo Switch.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III continues the story of Thors Military Academy student Rean Schwarzer as he and his classmates find themselves in the middle of a war. Throughout the game, players will learn more about the characters and their personalities as well as the state of the region.

The game features turn-based combat where players can use Arts and Skills to take down enemies. Additionally, other powerful attacks are unlocked as the story goes on. This game also introduces a new “Break System”, which the player will explore throughout the game and NISA will provide further details on soon.
