The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero Gets September Release Date And Story Trailer
NIS America has shared a new story trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero. The upcoming RPG from the Trails series will finally be available officially in the west on September 27, 2022. Originally released for the PSP in Japan, the first game in the Crossbell saga will be released on PS4, Switch and PC -via Steam-.
Trails from Zero is the fourth game in the Trails series of JRPGs developed by Nihon Falcom. It tells the story of a group called the Special Support Section, who work as a form of police force in the bustling city of Crossbell. As the city is overcome by corruption cases and a criminal underbelly, they’ll eventually find out multiple secrets hidden by the alluring city.
Alongside the strategical turn-based combat fans have expected from the series, the addition of cooperative attacks with party members makes the bonds between the Special Support Section an active ingredient in combat potential. This release boasts a High-Speed mode, which prior localized Trails entries contain. This functionality allows players to speed past cutscenes for whatever reason they deem fit.
Check out the new trailer which shows small bits of the story elements waiting for players who have yet to enjoy the Crossbell saga. As the series is fundamentally tied to its story, keep in mind the events of The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and its sequel, Trails in the Azure, are very important for the already released Trails of Cold Steel quadrilogy as well as the upcoming Trails from Reverie.
