Blade Boy Otome ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- Pocket’ Opens Pre-Registration for Western Release

DMM Games announced that they will publish the Nitroplus-developed blade boy otome Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- Pocket on iOS and Android in the west. Currently, there isn’t a release date outside of a placeholder of August 31, 2021.

Western players can pre-register now to hit the ground running in this blade boy collecting adventure. During gameplay, players will set out on paths, encounter random events, and fight off enemies with a party of warriors. Further, players can collect materials used for new warriors or strengthen the characters in their party.

Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- is currently available on PC in the west, but it’s clear this is meant to be played on mobile devices.

Touken Ranbu tells the story of a group called the Saniwa. As revisionists try to change the past, they’re forced to go back in time with a Blade Battalion composed of powerful warriors born from famous weapons. The game features Japanese audio, seiyuu like Toshiki Masuda, Kaito Ishikawa, Tomoaki Maeno, Kazuyuki Okitsu, and Kento Hama.
