Blade Boys Strategy Game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ Coming West via Johren Next Week

DMM Games and Nitroplus have revealed the release date for Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-. The browser strategy game focused on building and strengthening your very own battalion of blade boys will be available on Johren on April 27.

Touken Ranbu tells the story of a group called the Saniwa. As revisionists try to change the past, they’re forced to go back in time with a Blade Battalion composed of powerful warriors born from famous weapons.

Besides battles, the game also includes interactions between the boys and some visual novel content detailing their personal stories. With Japanese audio, seiyuu like Toshiki Masuda, Kaito Ishikawa, Tomoaki Maeno, Kazuyuki Okitsu and Kento Hama are part of the package.

It’s also possible to pre-register for Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- on its official page, allowing the player to get various bonus items necessary to summon and strengthen these characters as part of the game’s gacha system.
