Touhou Hyouibana: Antinomy of Common Flowers Gets PS4 and Switch Release Date in the West
Phoenixx announced they will publish the Twilight Frontier and Team Shanghai Alice-developed Touhou fighter Touhou Hyouibana: Antinomy of Common Flowers on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on April 22.
Touhou Hyouibana: Antinomy of Common Flowers features tag-team 2D combat where players can control a roster full of 19 characters from the Touhou universe. Further, each character has access to three Spell Cards to special effect to the battle. Support characters in the match can execute assists and be swapped in when necessary.
Touhou Hyouibana: Antinomy of Common Flowers also features an accessible control scheme where a single button with a direction can execute an action such as dash, barrier, or bullet hell attacks.
“Touhou Hyouibana ~ Antinomy of Common Flowers’ fans helped the game shine by creating such a vibrant community and even an English translation which we adopted into the official release,” said Unabura Iruka, Co-Founder and Game Designer, Twilight Frontier. “Working with Phoenixx to bring this game to console players is a testament of how much they’ve meant to this game.”
There will be online and offline game modes available across 19 different stages. This game is officially the 15.5th game in the Touhou series, and its story was created under the supervision of series creator ZUM.
Touhou Hyouibana ~ Antinomy of Common Flowers is currently available on Steam, but not in English.
