Touch Detective 3 + The Complete Case Files Announced for Switch 2024; Pre-Orders Available
Nicalis has announced that the point-and-click adventure collection developed by Beeworks Games and Success Corporation, Touch Detective 3 + The Complete Case Files, will launch for Nintendo Switch in the first quarter of 2024.
The three mainline Touch Detective games will be featured alongside “two bonus scenarios and an extensive in-game gallery with over 500 images of rare artwork, development sketches, and comic strips.” Additionally, this release marks the third game’s localized debut.
The series follows protagonist rookie detective Mackenzie, solving mysteries with her mushroom assistant Funghi and family butler Cromwell. Touch screen functionality will enable interaction with characters, objects, and puzzles.
Other significant characters include Mackenzie’s friends Penelope and Chloe and rival detective Norman Touche. The bonus scenarios have Funghi interviewing people, solving puzzles, and more.
Touch Detective 3 + The Complete Case Files will receive a digital and physical release, with the latter available in standard ($49.99) and special ($59.99) versions. The special edition features a plush of Funghi Plush. Physical pre-orders are now available.
