Torchlight III Gets Release Date on PS4, Xbox One, and PC

Perfect World Entertainment announced that the Echtra Games-developed action RPG Torchlight III will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on October 13, the game is currently available on Steam Early Access for $29.99.

Those who have taken part in the early access will receive a free upgrade to full the game. Also, all versions will include an exclusive Fairy pet for each platform.

“The full release of Torchlight III wouldn’t have been possible without all of the incredible work from the entire Echtra team and our excellent community of Early Access players,” said Max Schaefer, CEO of Echtra Games and co-founder of the Torchlight franchise. “We’ve put our heart into this new adventure and it has been awesome getting so much support from players while the game has been in live development. With the significant changes we’ve made throughout Torchlight III’s journey in Early Access, we have done our best to meaningfully integrate players’ feedback as much as possible into the game as we march toward launch. Next month, we can’t wait to welcome all players to the Frontier!”

In the full release players able to travel with friends and explore dungeons along with building and upgrading a fort. There are five Relics to choose from and enhance, which strengthen the character. Epic Gear can be found and Pets have returned to campaign.

Torchlight III is a successor of Torchlight I and II, originally developed by Runic Games. The game aims to bring fans back to the series’ universe and offer new systems and features including new enemies to the experience. Players can join friends or take on the adventure alone to discover loot, dungeons, and gear. As of right now, the game has four unique hero classes, Dusk Mage, Forged, Railmaster, and Sharpshooter along with various familiar combat pets available.

The Nintendo Switch version will launch later this year.
