Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Reveals Demo Release Date and New Skaters
Activision announced new details for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 4.
The publisher revealed that a few new skaters will be playable alongside the original roster of skaters, including:
- Nyjah Huston
- Leo Baker
- Leticia Bufoni
- Aori Nishimura
- Lizzie Armanto
- Shane O’Neill
- Riley Hawk
- Tyshawn Jones
“Modern-day skateboarding originated from a generation of skaters who grew up playing the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games,” said Michelle Bresaw, Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Activision. “The world-class pro skaters we’re adding to this remaster took the tricks and combos from the videogame and made them possible in real life. We’re proud that the remaster will represent the skate culture landscape today with a diverse roster of skaters that will appeal to any gamer.”
Those who pre-order the game on pre-order the game digitally will also gain access to a Warehouse Demo planned to launch on August 14. This will give players a chance to play the classic stage and preview the game’s updated systems.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will include updated versions of each of the levels with the skaters and locations that players will remember. The publisher revealed that the original soundtrack for the game will also be featured in the release. Along with 4K resolution support, players will find that the game also features updated mechanics such as revert, lip tricks, wall plans, and manuals. Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater modes have also returned along with multiplayer game modes, both online and local. The levels will also include new goals and challenges.
