Shadow of the Tomb Raider Heats Things Up for Lara Croft in The Forge DLC
Square Enix, along with Eidos-Montreal and Crystal Dynamics unveiled the first of seven DLC packs coming to Shadow of the Tomb Raider called The Forge available on November 13th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC-via Steam.
The Forge is a new adventure for Lara Croft as she “must brave the lava-flooded Forge of the fallen gods to uncover the secrets of Kuwaq Yaku.” Leading player to uncover an ancient legacy of Lara’s friend and defeating danger long forgotten.
Also included is a brand new challenge tomb with options for solo or cooperative play. Hopefully, players don’t have to break their back to be rewarded with a Grenadier skill, Brocken outfit and a weapon called Umbrage 3-80 when completing the challenge.
Square Enix also outlines additional content packs available in its Shadow of the Tomb Raider Season Pass including additional side missions along with more challenge tombs, co-op experiences, weapons, outfits, Score and Time Attack modes.
The Forge will be included in the $29.99 Season Pass or separately for $4.99.

Author’s take: I grew up with Tomb Raider and I enjoyed the 2013 reboot but I honestly feel like the sequels are more of the same game. But I’ll keep my eye on the feedback for this DLC since almost nothing is cooler than jumping around lava.
