Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint to Support Stadia at Launch; New Overview Trailer
Ubisoft announced that their upcoming shooter Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be available through the Stream Connect feature service, Stadia, at launch, which allows players to display the game of up to three Co-Op teammates on their screen.
“Ubisoft is bringing several fantastic gaming worlds to Stadia at launch, and we cannot wait to see players experience them on this game-changing cloud technology,” says Yves Guillemot, co-founder & CEO of Ubisoft. “Starting later this year, Stadia will bring players the possibility to share and enjoy even more memorable gaming moments wherever they choose to play.”
In addition to the announcement, the publisher released a new trailer titled “We Are Wolves”, which gives a story overview. The game features some Rambo like elements of stealth gameplay and exploration as players will need to work together to get through encounters across various environments. The trailer also shows a brief glimpse at gameplay, with more to be possibly shown during E3 2019.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint features a handful of innovative gameplay mechanics as players take on an ex-US military unit gone rogue known as the Wolves. Essentially, the enemy went through the same training as the player and they have seized the archipelago of Auro. Players will need to work towards taking out their leader Colonel Cole D. Walker, who is a former teammate.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 4.
