Nintendo launched a new trailer for the Atlus co-developed RPG Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore, coming to Nintendo Switch on January 17, 2020.
The trailer is sadly only 30 seconds long and previews a new song added to the game titled “She Is…” As the heroines of the RPG sing and dance to the new song, it ends abruptly. Most likely forcing us to wait until the game releases to see more.
Originally released in 2015 on Wii U, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE takes place in a world full of strange happenings. The game takes place in popular Japanese regions and features a memorable cast of characters as well as a musical theme that is connected to the game’s overall story.
During the game, characters have the power to access an ability known as Performa, which is somehow connected to their dreams. Performa is also what attracts being known as Mirages who appear to be from a different dimension. Some of these Mirages are evil, but others can be used for the power of good and their abilities can be harnessed within the chosen character.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore will release globally as the version of the game that released in the west. This version contains altered character designs and alternative story scenarios for some of the game’s dialogue.
