The official Tokyo Game Show website has revealed the expected schedule for its show running later this year. Several publishers and developers will be having a presence, such as Square Enix, Capcom, Level 5, Konami, Bandai Namco, and several others.
Tokyo Game Show 2021 will be running from Thursday, September 30, to Sunday, October 3. However, the schedule does have empty time slots, which can be hinting to further partner announcements being made throughout the month or that those times are merely breaks of sorts. Still, even with this current schedule, there are many showings that will assuredly enthuse fans worldwide.
It is always smart to have tempered expectations, but I can’t help but grow excited at enormous gaming events like this. From Square Enix to Koei Tecmo, my eyes are already firmly planted upon this event. Hell, maybe Konami will reveal earth-shattering news! Unfortunately, E3 was not exactly the hype fest that many were hoping it would be, so hopefully, TGS 2021 can alleviate at least some of that disappointment.
Some publishers and developers like Capcom have already formally announced their participation in this upcoming event.
