VR Visual Novel ‘Tokyo Chronos’ Gets PSVR Release Date in the West
Sekai Games announced that the MyDearest developed virtual reality tile, Tokyo Chronos, will launch on PlayStation VR in the west on August 26.
Tokyo Chronos focuses on immersion and storytelling via virtual reality. The title will feature suspense and drama told via a mix of visual animation and the team’s unique comic book style UI, which is inspired by both animation and the visual novel genres. The VR immersion of the game allows players to look around while discovering new areas as they search for details and listen to the surroundings via a dynamic sound system. The studio wants the character to come alive before the player’s eyes and provide a deep experience.
Following a successful Kickstarter Campaign, that game features an all-star staff such as Haruki Kashiwakura (Expelled from Paradise), Kou Segawa (Kimi ni Korosareta to Shitemo), Kazuma Miki (Sword Art Online). The game’s PSVR released has suffered delays after the studio was not satisfied with the quality of their title and need more time to get it right also Sony regulations seemed to cause other delays. So, we are glad to see the game with a solid release date.
