Toge Productions, the team behind Coffee Talk and A Space for the Unbound, has announced that it will publish Undusted: Letters from the Past on PC via Steam. This cozy ASMR cleaning simulator is from developer 5minlab, a subsidiary of Krafton. The game, which received positive reception at Wholesome Direct 2024 and GDoC Expo 2024, focuses on restoring forgotten objects, uncovering memories, and embracing heartfelt nostalgia.
A Relaxing and Emotional Cleaning Experience
Unlike traditional cleaning simulators, Undusted: Letters from the Past leans into an ASMR-style experience, where every swipe, scrub, and polish comes with soothing sounds designed to immerse players in the act of restoring the past. The game places players in the role of someone returning to their childhood home after their mother’s passing. By cleaning and restoring old items, they slowly uncover stories from their family’s past, experiencing poignant moments of nostalgia and reflection.
Features of Undusted: Letters from the Past
- Satisfying ASMR Cleaning – Enjoy authentic sound design that captures the unique characteristics of each cleaning tool and surface.
- Beautiful Pixel Art Textures – The game merges 3D interactable objects with a stylized pixel aesthetic, creating a visually unique and engaging world.
- A Story Told Through Objects – Every cleaned item holds a memory, offering a deeply personal narrative that unfolds as players progress.
A Perfect Fit for Toge Productions
Toge Productions CEO Kris Antoni shared his enthusiasm for the game, saying:
“Undusted is not just a satisfying cleaning game that helps you unwind after a long day, but also a heartwarming experience that will make you want to immediately call your loved ones and tell them you love them.”
Game director Yoonjeong Choi expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting how Undusted fits with Toge’s catalog:
“As a fan of Toge, I naturally have a strong appreciation for the games they publish and develop, especially A Space for the Unbound and the Coffee Talk series. I’ve always admired these kinds of games and aspired to create something similar. That’s why I’m truly thrilled to have Undusted—with its pixel graphics, storytelling, and overall tone—published by Toge Productions, as it would resonate well with their audience, making this partnership a perfect fit.”
