Anime Platformer ‘Tobari 2: Dream Ocean’ Gets Western Release Date on PC

Sekai Project announced that the desunoya-developed anime-style platformer Tobari 2: Dream Ocean on PC-via Steam on July 17.

Tobari 2: Dream Ocean features the return of Tobari, who is the heroine of Tobari and the Night of the Curious Moonheads out on a new adventure in search of a mysterious voice that is calling for help.

Tobari 2: Dream Ocean is an indie developed action game based in the world of Tobari. Players will be armed with a staff to use to smack around enemies and perhaps use some magic in an attempt to traverse the Dream Ocean. With only a mysterious voice called you forward, players will journey with Tobari into this unknown new world.

Tobari 2: Dream Ocean features over 30 types of magic for players to use across a variety of stages. Each stage has its share of challenges and gimmicks that players will need to overcome in order to get to the end. The game also features an Easy Mode that will allow you to return to any moment before the game.

Additionally, the publisher released the first gameplay trailer for the game which gives players an idea of the game’s direction. Evidently, it mimics games like retro Mario titles but does feature so pretty complex moments of platforming action, which now makes sense as to why they made sure to tell us that there is an easy more.
