The eroge manga genre doesn’t get to spend much time in the spotlight because it generally sticks to a few tropes that make the entire experience predictable. However, this creates space for various stories to be told, most of which push this envelope entirely. The manga series To Save the World, Can You Wake Up the Morning After with a Demi-Human? is no stranger to the obscure, but I feel like Volume 3 takes it a step beyond by touching on numerous kinks.

To Save the World, Can You Wake Up the Morning After with a Demi-Human? Vol. 3 begins with Hironori waking up in an unknown world. Surrounded by demons, he discovers the Demon Realm, but thankful Aki is standing before him dressed rather provocatively. Well, things don’t really work out well for Hironori since this Demon version of Aki is actually a candidate to carry the seed of the Demon King, and he is the one who can deliver it.

The remainder of the volume has Hironori interacting with various demon-like monster girls as they find ways to violate him. This is repeated multiple times and plays out in the same manner as he passes out and wakes up after they have done the deed. I know it’s getting old, but there’s a build-up here and some exciting ways that he is limited from passing out that keep the graphic nature of this series going.

The themes of these volumes are exceptionally voyeuristic and straight-up vore. In fact, the vore aspect of this volume is insanely graphic and almost stomach-turning as you watch a nightmarish scene take place. Now, I can see that it would be decent if someone were into this type of thing. However, I think the idea is to really get as weird as possible. The chapters show scenes you’d never expect and use the demon world as the reason to make it happen. If it was going for shock value, I think this volume wins to the point where you’ll think they’ve done everything, and then Hironori is swimming through a sea of boobs.

The illustrations are beyond descriptive and revealing. The h-content isn’t she, and every panel perfectly details the strange situations that Hironori is in. However, I think the passage of time is hard to follow as it’s unclear how long Hironori has been confined and basically raped in prison. You’ll know by the cover alone if this is a manga for you, but if you know what you’re getting yourself into, I think you’ll enjoy the detailed presentation.

To Save the World, Can You Wake Up the Morning After with a Demi-Human? Vol. 3 takes this series to new heights of insanity, and I don’t know if I should see a therapist after reading. However, it was unique and has h-content that I have honestly never even imagined being real. So if you’re looking for shock or just to explore some kink, this is a harmless read.
