Annapurna Interactive and developer uvula have released a free playable demo for to a T, the offbeat narrative adventure from Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi.
The demo, which covers the early sections of the game, is available now on PC via Steam. Saved data will be transferable to the full version when it arrives later this month.
The tracks “The Giraffe Song” by Rebecca Sugar and “Perfect Shape” by PREP are also now available on streaming services.
About to a T
This latest Takahashi project embraces the surreal, with a 13-year-old protagonist permanently stuck in a T-pose. Players will explore a laid-back seaside town where, despite the visual absurdity, to a T aims to tell a heartfelt coming-of-age story about fitting in and discovering self-worth.
The gameplay unfolds in episodes across multiple days. As the Teen, players will tackle everything from mundane chores to strange encounters through a series of interactive minigames. Players can anticipate maneuvering stiff arms to drink a glass of water, petting a dog, or getting dressed in peculiar outfits; the character’s limitations uniquely shape each interaction.
Outside of the main story, players can freely explore the town, chat with its quirky residents, collect coins, or shop for new clothes to customize Teen’s look.
to a T will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on May 28, 2025.
