Publisher tinyBuild and developer Splashteam have announced that their 3D platforming adventure, Tinykin, will be releasing for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on August 30, 2022. Throughout this title, inspired by Pikmin and Paper Mario, players explore a stylized house as the protagonist, Milo. Each room of the abode contains different cultures and puzzles, alongside creatures known as the titular Tinykin that aid Milo on his adventure. In addition, they can open up previously sealed pathways, build ladders, move obstacles, and more.
Milo has his own tools, too, such as the upgradeable bubble-glider, which crosses over wide gaps. Soap-bar surfboard is also around, with spiderwebs and rails needing to be crossed. PC players can experience the demo now, while the console version will be launching on June 23, 2022.
