Retro 2D Platformer ‘Timothy and the Tower of Mu’ Announced for PC via Steam; August 2022 Release, Trailer & Demo Available

During Day 2 of the Indie Live Expo event, publisher Playism revealed the retro 2D action game Timothy and the Tower of Mu by developer Kibou Entertainment. Throughout this hardcore platformer, players control protagonist Timoty, whose grandfather recently passed away. However, there exists The Tower of Mu, supposedly crafted by God, and legends state that one who climbs to its top can have any one of their wishes granted. Determined to wish his grandfather back to life, Mu ascends this dastardly structure.

This title is stated to be directly inspired by classics such as Faxanadu, Kid Icarus, Demon’s Crest, and Shadow of the Colossus, and around 8 hours of gameplay is to be expected.

Timothy and the Tower of Mu is releasing for PC via Steam on August 9, 2022. A demo is also currently available via Steam.
