Publisher THQ Nordic and developer DigixArt have announced that their upcoming first-person adventure game Tides of Tomorrow has been delayed from February 24 to April 22, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The explicit reasoning given for this delay stems from player feedback from the still-available Steam demo regarding what appears to be crucial improvements.

    THQ Nordic said the following:

Following extensive feedback gathered from the Tides of Tomorrow playable demo and an ongoing closed beta, the development team determined that additional time is needed to respond to player input and implement improvements. This extra development period will help ensure the best possible experience for the upcoming narrative-driven adventure.

Tides of Tomorrow is set in Elynd, an ocean-covered planet struggling to survive after a  Great Flood. As the environment succumbs to plastification, players explore floating platforms and search for a cure.

Interestingly, other players directly influence each other’s story, with their decisions and discoveries. As you meet Elynd’s inhabitants, each with their own motivations and outlooks, alliances and rivalries can shift depending on both your choices and the paths taken by players you follow.
