Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Launches on Switch Allowing Fans to Play This Narrative-Driven RPG on the Go

CD Projekt Red announced that their narrative-driven RPG, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, is available now on Switch.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales was ported to the console hybrid by developer Crunching Koalas, who worked in cooperation with CD Projekt Red. The game features a single-player narrative as players take part in turn-based battles and learn more about Meve, a war-veteran queen of two North Realms, Lyria and Rivia. Throughout the game, players will face an imminent Nilfgaardian invasion, which has Meve enter the war as she sets out on a journey of destruction and revenge.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales previously released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, but this will be the first mobile version of the adventure. Players who purchase the game will also have access to the official soundtrack, concept art from the game, and an annotated map of Lyria, this is available to all platforms owners of the game.

To celebrate the release, the developer launched a new trailer showing the game running on Switch hardware. The comic book style cinematics looks like they transferred over to the Switch well. The trailer also serves as a story overview to introduce players to the characters and the setting of the adventure ahead.
