Riyo Games and Humble Games have unveiled a new trailer for their upcoming Unreal Engine 5 2.5D RPG, Threads of Time, during the PC Gaming Show at Tokyo Game Show.
The trailer highlights Rin, a kitsune ninja from 2400 AD who uses illusions and blade arts to disrupt enemies, while showcasing a first look at two dramatically different settings: Himmenheim, a prehistoric town where Vikings coexist with dinosaurs, and a cyberpunk dystopia of constant surveillance in the far future.
Players will travel across ages, recruit heroes from different eras, and chain combos. The story follows the restoration of the ancient Order of the Time Knights and the struggle to unravel a plot that spans various eras.
