The trailer introduces players to the in-game town of Sharpwood as a cold and desolate place. Throughout the city’s streets crime has taken over and the people are trying to find anyone to believe in to help clear out these individuals. It seems as though a group of trustworthy police officers must do there best “To serve and protect”, however, even some officers can’t be trusted.

This Is the Police 2 is a sequel to 2016’s This Is the Police, which has been highly praised by fans. The game features a mixture of adventure and management systems where players must use strategic and tactical systems in order to progress the narrative. Furthermore, the outcome of the game will depend on the choices that the player makes.

Author’s take: This series has such a great art direction and the tension shown in the trailer makes me want to see this game through until the end. Hopefully, the game will deliver on the expectations of fans who seem to have really enjoyed the first release. Also, I have a huge soft spot for tactical games.
