Publisher SEMICOLON and developer Decent Treatment have announced their survival horror RPG THERMOCLINE, coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The game will launch first on PC via Steam and itch.io this winter as a completely free release, with console versions planned for a later date.
Set on the frozen planet C9 CRPSE-19, THERMOCLINE features a lone survivor stranded on a dead world consumed by an endless blizzard. There are also mysterious entities that feed on warmth and steal souls from the shadows.
Players must manage resources such as fuel and body temperature. Battles focus on turn-based encounters against grafted monstrosities. Exploration will take players through hand-drawn environments.
One notable aspect of the project is its soundtrack, composed by Chilly Makes Music, known for their work on the Fear & Hunger series.
