Bloodborne-Inspired Pixel Art Game ‘There is No Light’ Gets November Release Window in New Trailer

During Day 2 of Gamescom 2021, HypeTrain Digital released a new trailer for their action-adventure, There is No Light revealing that it will release in November 2021.

Originally started as a Kickstarter campaign, There Is No Light is a brutal action-adventure set in a grim underground world ruled by the mysterious Church of the Great Hand. During gameplay, players will have to approach the challenging combat with caution, which is difficult considering how quickly the enemies are. Further, the lore and setting of the adventure are said to be inspired by Bloodborne, which also shows in the mutated enemy designs.

The game features a unique rage system that forces players to play aggressively, limiting the ability to inch through battles. In addition, weapons can be found and upgraded to fit any playstyle; each has its own range of skills. Lastly, the narrative is non-linear, so players can take on this gloomy quest however they wish, but choices do matter, and they also affect the game world.

Currently, there’s a demo available on Steam for those looking to get a taste of what this dark, grim world has to offer.

There is No Light is coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC-via Steam in November 2021.
