Square Enix has announced that their rhythm RPG, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, is now available worldwide on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. This ambitious title houses nearly 400 tracks from the Final Fantasy franchise in a playable rhythm game format, with several unlockable characters, rewards, and bonus songs.

There are also two more DLC packs titled DLC Pack Vol. 14 and Vol. 15 listed in the Nintendo eShop, with October 11, 2023, and November 1, 2023 release dates, respectively, but their pages just say “songs to be announced in the future.”

Further, players can purchase or upgrade to the Digital Deluxe edition of the title, containing 27 additional Final Fantasy songs.

If you’re unsure about the game, there is a free demo on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch housing a total of 30 playable songs, with save data even transferable to the full release.

In an interview with the Japanese outlet Dengeki, the title’s Director and Produer discussed a myriad of topics, such as how this game is meant to be the Theatrhythm series’ finale.
