The Yakuza Remastered Collection Revealed to Include Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 on PS4; Yakuza 3 is Available Now

Sega announced The Yakuza Remastered Collection, which includes Yakuza 3Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5, for PlayStation 4 for $59.99. At this time, Yakuza 3 Remastered is available now to download digitally via the PlayStation Store.

The release dates for the other titles are:

  • Yakuza 4 – October 29
  • Yakuza 5 – February 11

The publisher also announced that a very limited physical run of The Yakuza Remastered Collection: Day One Edition will be available on February 11, pre-orders details will be given at the game’s official website. This will also include a PlayStation 3 collectible case for Yakuza 5 because the west didn’t get that originally. However, the PS3 disc is not included.

Additionally, those who want the entire store can pick up The Yakuza Origins Digital Bundle, which includes Yakuza 0Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2, for $49.99.

The Yakuza Remastered Collection offers a performance upgrade for the titles, which now run in 1080p 60fps. All three games have also gone through a relocalization process, where the team has reviewed, revised, and in some cases rewritten scenes. Also, previously cut content that was removed from Yakuza 3, 4, andhave been re-added. This means that in Yakuza 3, the Mahjong, Shogi, Massage Parlor, and Cabaret minigames, as well as a collection of Substories are now included in the game.

Lastly, several quality-of-life changes have been added for each release in the collection, including a Substory tracker on the map and the ability to toggle between English and Japanese written lyrics during Karaoke.
