Enjoy a Candlelit Bath Anywhere With ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition’ on Switch This Year

During Nintendo’s E3 2019 direct, CD Projekt RD shared that their award-winning, massive open-world RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is galloping to Nintendo Switch sometime this year. The game is being ported to Nintendo Switch by Saber Interactive (folks who recently made World War Z) in close cooperation with CD Projekt Red. This is a momentous occasion for Nintendo as this game being on Switch marks the first time ever that a Witcher game has ever been released on a Nintendo console.

Set to launch this year both digitally and in retail, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch comes with the base game, as well all the additional content ever released. This includes both story expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, as well as all 16 free DLCs. Basically, the Complete Edition will indeed be complete and for those RPG fans looking for one meaty game, this edition of The Witcher 3 is going to offer over 150 hours of gameplay. Could this be the longest and biggest game released on Switch so far? Perhaps.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an RPG set in a fantastic open world full of adventure, danger, and mystery. As professional monster slayer Geralt of Rivia (fun fact: he’s a playable character in Soul Calibur 6), gamers must set out to find the Child of Prophecy — a powerful entity that may send the world spiraling toward destruction. Along the way, the witcher will find himself facing not only mighty foes, but also tough choices, the consequences of which will ripple throughout the game’s epic narrative.

We weren’t kidding earlier when we said that The Witcher 3 is an award-winning game. It’s a winner of over 800 awards, including 250 Game of the Year awards, so needless to say people liked it, like…a lot. So much so that the game sold more than half of the series’ 40 million copies sold.
