The Talos Principle II Announces November 2023 Release Date for PS5, Xbox & PC

Publisher Devolver Digital revealed a new gameplay trailer for the Croteam-developed puzzle-adventure The Talos Principle II, confirming a November 2, 2023, release date for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

This title was unofficially confirmed several years ago during the development of Serious Sam 4 but was fully revealed with a 2023 release window during the May 2023 PlayStation Showcase.

The follow-up is stated to be a dramatic expansion in the storyline, puzzle mechanics, and worldbuilding from the original, all elements that were already lauded in the previous title. New features include ‘mind transference’ and gravity manipulation, as well as multiple endings and many new environments.

Humankind has gone extinct, and culture lives on through robots. Players will face “questions about the nature of the cosmos, faith versus reason, and the fear of repeating humankind’s mistakes.” Further, there will be mind transference and gravity manipulation gameplay mechanics and multiple endings.

Pre-orders are now available via the official website, with a base price of $29.99.
