Things Get Rotten in the Latest ‘The Sinking City’ Gameplay Trailer

Publisher BigBen Interactive and developer Frogwares have released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming detective mystery adventure The Sinking City, which is coming to PS4, PC, and Xbox One on June 27. The trailer isn’t for the faint of heart since it is rather spooky.

In the trailer, it shows the main character, Charles W. Reed, investigating the bleak, flooded city of Oakmont, all the while looking for clues. His investigation isn’t a walk in the park, however, as the private detective starts witnessing the madness and atmosphere impregnating Oakmont. If that isn’t bad enough, Charles gets more and more disturbing hallucinations, but still, he believes he can overcome all the madness around him and uncover the mystery within the devastated town he’s in.

To achieve his rather difficult goal, players will need to help him by using wit, detective skills, survival instincts, unique abilities, and of course, a handy side-arm. Furthermore, players must also help Charles maintain his sanity, as failure to do so will result in him escaping reality forever. The truth of the matter is that The Sinking City won’t be easy, so prepare to be the best detective you can be or else you’ll be swimming with the fishes.
