Narrative-Driven RPG ‘The Outer Worlds’ Gets New Gameplay Trailer Ahead of Launch

Private Division released the launch trailer for the Obsidian Entertainment developed narrative-driven RPG The Outer Worlds coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25.

The trailer quickly highlights some of the many things players are able to do in the game. Like most RPGs of this scope, players have the option to be who they want in a world that is constantly evolving. Taking up quests and using your moral compass to get you through them is just some of what awaits players.

In The Outer Worlds, the player will take on the role of a mysterious character who happens to be lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy. The character awakens decades later, and it’s from then on that the player will have to explore a space colony that isn’t all that safe to be in as multiple factions fight for control of it. The player can decide to choose the path they want to take, whether they want to be a hero, rebel, or even an anti-hero.
