The Outbound Ghost Dev Urges Players NOT to Buy the Console Version

Sometimes, games are released in a state the developer doesn’t control. This can be due to the publisher or even an outsourced developer that was supposed to handle the port from PC to other platforms.

Evidently, this is what happened to the recent console release of The Outbound Ghost. The lead developer of The Outbound Ghost Conrad shared a message about the release of their game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch to urge players not to play this version. The game launched on console with performance issues that were “out of their control.”

Conrad also shared, “I am doing everything that I can to get the relevant parties to fix their mistakes, and I will keep you all up to date as much as I possibly can.”
